Many sessions, amazing location, lots networking with food and drinks and much more! Yes, it was the VMware NLVMUG UserCon event held on March 21st, 2019!
This time the location was changed to De Fabrique in Utrecht (The Netherlands). I did not visit the previous NLVMUG events but I must say that this location is more than great. There was ample room for the many attendees including an indoor karting arena, which was free for everyone.
Given the many sessions it was by far impossible to attend all of them. So as with all such events, decisions had to be made. As I am a certified VCP7-CMA, I made sure to attend the session by Dimitri de Swart talking about multi-cloud management via VMware Cloud Automation Services. Cool stuff!
Another great session was about the new features in vSphere 6.7 and beyond hosted by Jennifer van der Boon and Rob Groenhuis. Lots of great improvements focused on on-premises, hybrid and public cloud workloads.
What made this event even more fun was the company of my PQR colleagues Ronald de Jong, Stefan Verhoef & Stefan Groenhof!
I am looking forward to the next NLVMUG UserCon to be held in the same location on March 19th, 2020!
